Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Hindu Gods Chat ("we", "us") handles information when you use the service at hindugodschat.com (the "Service"). We collect as little as possible.
1. Information we collect
Session data. We store a random, anonymous session identifier in a cookie so we can remember your credit balance between visits. It does not identify you personally.
Wallet address (optional). If you choose to pay with or connect a crypto wallet, we process your public wallet address to credit your balance. A public wallet address is not by itself personal identity information.
Payment information. Purchases are handled by our third-party payment providers. They collect and process your payment details directly. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Conversation content. When you speak or type to a character, that audio or text is sent to our AI provider to generate a response in real time. We do not use your conversations to build a personal profile of you.
Usage and device data. Like most websites, we and our analytics providers may collect basic technical data (such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed) to keep the Service working, secure, and measurable.
2. How we use information
To operate the Service, maintain your credit balance, process payments, prevent abuse and fraud, measure and improve the Service, and comply with law.
3. Third-party services
We share data only as needed with providers that help us run the Service:
- Payment processors, to take payment and manage refunds.
- Google (Gemini) and OpenAI, to generate AI voice and text responses.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (such as our web host and database), to deliver and store the Service.
- Analytics and advertising providers (such as Google), to measure traffic and campaigns.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.
4. Cookies
We use a strictly necessary cookie for your session and balance. We and our analytics or advertising partners may also use cookies to measure usage and ad performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
5. Data retention
We keep session and balance data only as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize it.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your information, or to object to certain processing. Because we store only an anonymous session identifier, you can remove most of this data yourself at any time by clearing your browser cookies for this site.
7. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here.
